much, much more. These residences are minutes
from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet are

just steps away.
Brickell Key is a secluded island a block off
Brickell Avenue in the heart of Miami's
financial district. It is home to at least four
luxury Condominium towers - all priced much
higher than Courvoisier Courts - and neighbor to
the world-class Mandarin Oriental hotel.
Although it is set away, it is convenient to the
cosmopolitan world. Miami is the international
gateway to Latin America, the Bahamas, the
Caribbean and Europe. Miami International
Airport is 15 minutes away and the Port of Miami
is a five minute drive. Those who work downtown
can walk to the office. World-class restaurants
of Coral Gables, the glittering nightlife of
South Beach and waterfront dining and unique
shopping at Bayside are all close by.
There are spacious one-, two- and three-bedroom
units available ranging from 850 square feet to
3,700 square feet. Choice of 10 floor plans and
exclusive penthouses . There are spacious grand
master suites with ceiling heights ranging from
nine to 13 feet and large balconies. All common
areas feature beautiful faux-finish effects and
each elevator lobby is highlighted with a custom
stencil design in the drop soffit with a
coordinating faux finish on the ceiling of the
elevator coffer.
Courvoisier Courts
Amenities include a luxurious two-story health
club and spa salon located on the second and
third levels; squash, racquetball and croquet
courts; a surround-sound plush private movie
theatre; a billiards and in house Real Estate
office; a large heated pool that is shaped like
a Chinese fan; and a fully equipped business
center with conference room that is available to
all residents. There is 24 hour concierge, valet
parking and a five-story enclosed parking garage
adjacent to the building.
Courvoisier Courts rises from Brickell Key in
Biscayne Bay against the backdrop of Miami's
distinctive skyline. It is clearly a structure
designed for those who value style, comfort,
privacy and a highly satisfying array of
convenient personal services. Valet parking and
concierge services are only the first
indications of an extremely heightened degree of
personal service.
The British Colonial ambience of the arrival
court, lobby and common-use areas speaks
eloquently of timeless luxury. The lobby area is
richly detailed in marble and handcrafted
tropical millwork. Corridors are beautifully
finished with crown molding surrounds at each
apartment entry and trompe-l'oeil painting on
the walls. The colors are tastefully muted,
restful. There is the soft luster of polished
brass and richly burnished wood. A quiet moment
in time that could as easily be transported in
India, the Orient, Africa or England. This is
Courvoisier Courts.
The history of Brickell Key can be traced to
1896, when Henry Flagler had a 9-foot deep
channel dug from the mouth of the Miami River.
In the process, Mr. Flagler created an off-shore
property comprised of two small islands. In
1943, an investor, Edward N. Claughton, Sr.
acquired the islands and eventually purchased
additional bay bottom land to combine them to a
44-acre triangle-shaped tract separated from the
mansions of Miami's fashionable Brickell Avenue
by only a few hundred feet of water. In the late
1970's, Swire Properties purchased most of the
Brickell Key property from the Claughtons, and
began to put into place a master plan that would
ultimately transform it into one of the most
unique island communities in the world.
