The Plaza on Brickell is located at
Miami's Brickell financial district. The $200 million
development consists of two towers, one running
north-south, parallel to Brickell Avenue, and the other
with an east-west orientation. The towers form a
triangle with the existing and neighboring One Brickell
Square building.
The enclosed space between the three buildings forms an
open-air entertainment plaza conceived as a focal point
for casual dining, meeting and relaxing. Plans for the
plaza include two freestanding buildings of about 1,000
square feet each, that will accommodate a standing bar
and a casual restaurant.
Plaza on Brickell units will have gorgeous views of
Biscayne Bay and Brickell Key to the east, downtown
Miami to the north, and the city to the south and west.
The development will also contain over 30,000 sq.ft of
commercial and retail on the street level. A restaurant
will be created on the ground floor of the building with
broad Brickell frontage where outdoor tables could be
set up.

Plaza on
Brickell is a recently completed urban
development in downtown Miami, Florida. The
complex consists of two skyscrapers and a
retail center at the base, connecting the
two towers. The towers completed
construction in late 2007. The Plaza on
Brickell Tower I, the taller of the two
buildings, rises 610 ft (186 m) and 56
floors. The Plaza on Brickell Tower II is
525 ft (160 m) tall, and has 48 floors. The
two towers, although different in height,
are twin towers in design. Both are built on
land at the corner of Brickell Avenue and
Southwest 7th Street, in the northern
Brickell Financial District. The architect
of the complex is Nichols Brosch Wurst Wolf
& Associates. Located on Brickell Avenue, it
will be in the very center of the downtown
Miami high-rise district. |
